IMPORTANT – Please read: We ship our products abroad with the understanding that the customer accepts full responsibility for any delivery delays. While MacSween Haggis is shipped frozen and typically arrives within 2-5 days to neighbouring countries via DHL, we advise caution when ordering to distant EU countries, such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Malta and Finland. Deliveries to these regions can exceed 5 working days, and we cannot guarantee the storage conditions of the Haggis during these extended transit times. Due to these potential delays and unknown storage conditions, we do not recommend shipping to these farther EU destinations. Please note that DHL may collaborate with local partners in some countries, so delivery might not be conducted solely by DHL, and we do not have control over these aspects of the delivery process.
Delivery information for MacSween Haggis: We deliver MacSween Haggis only to countries within the EU. Due to customs reasons, delivery to Switzerland, Norway, and other non-EU countries is not possible. When ordering MacSween Haggis, please indicate in the comments field of your online order that you take full responsibility for the delivery. This confirmation allows us to ship without having to contact you additionally, which might otherwise lead to delays. Without this consent, we do not ship Haggis abroad.
Haggis Pre-orders: Due to our limited storage capacity, unfortunately, we are unable to reserve Haggis for our customers. We always strive for efficient stock management to ensure a broad availability of our products but cannot accept specific reservations.
Order with Desired Delivery Date: We do not offer deliveries on a specified date. Upon receipt of your order, the Haggis is shipped on a Monday. This should ensure that your order arrives within the same week. We ask for your understanding that deliveries are made on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
Express Shipping: We do not offer express delivery service.
Pricing:Our prices correspond to those listed on our website. We do not offer any discounts. There is a very low flat rate for shipping, regardless of the order quantity. This is equivalent to an indirect bulk discount.

Shipping Days for MacSween Haggis: We normally ship the MacSween Haggis to customers abroad on Mondays to help ensure that your order arrives within the same week.
Condition and Storage of Haggis: MacSween Haggis is shipped frozen. Depending on the season and shipping duration, the Haggis may arrive thawed but should still be cool. We recommend placing the Haggis in the refrigerator immediately upon receipt, storing it at approximately 4 to 7 degrees Celsius, and consuming it within 5 days or refreezing it after receipt. When frozen, Haggis remains consumable for at least 6 months. Please also check the best before date on the packaging.
With our standard shipping via DHL, your delivery should usually take about 2-5 days. Please note that DHL may work with partner companies in some countries, meaning the delivery may not be carried out exclusively by DHL and we have no influence over this part of the shipping process.

The shipping of our MacSween Haggis is adapted to the season to ensure optimal freshness. Typically, the Haggis is shipped in a styrofoam box with ice packs to secure cooling. However, during very cold weather conditions, we omit the styrofoam box as the low temperatures provide sufficient cooling. We always ensure that your Haggis reaches you in optimal condition.
Our Haggis has a guaranteed shelf life of 6 months from the production date. However, typically, the shelf life is over 1 year. We recommend you always check the best before date on the packaging to be sure.
Since Brexit, importing has become both complex and expensive. Therefore, we had to reduce our range to a minimum. We only offer the packaging sizes that you find in our online shop. Unfortunately, we do not have other sizes available.
It is normal for the Haggis to be delivered in a state suitable for immediate consumption. Although we indicate that the goods are shipped frozen, it can happen that the Haggis arrives slightly thawed at the customer's end. However, it should still be consistently cool. Upon arrival, we recommend placing the Haggis immediately in the refrigerator, storing it at about 4 to 7 degrees Celsius, and consuming it within 5 days. If you do not wish to consume it within this time frame, it can be refrozen without any concerns.
Yes, you can refreeze the Haggis. Since Haggis is not raw meat but is precooked twice during production, it is not as susceptible as fresh, raw meat. Refreezing is safe. However, there may be a slight loss in quality, but it should be minimal.
Since shipping Haggis abroad is an exception to our standard practice, the responsibility for cooling the product in case of delivery delays lies with the customer. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the risks of international shipping and considering them before placing an order.
