MacSween’s Traditional Haggis – Catering Pack

This Catering Pack contains the same high-quality traditional haggis used in all MacSween’s products. The only difference is the casing: instead of natural skin, this haggis is supplied in a durable artificial casing, making it easier to handle and ideal for large events.
The Catering Pack is the most economical choice for Burns Suppers, whisky tastings and larger gatherings. It delivers the same authentic flavour and texture, simply in a more practical format.

MacSween haggis is stored frozen in our facilities but shipped to customers chilled (not frozen) in insulated packaging.
- The haggis will not arrive frozen.
- On arrival, refrigerate and consume within 5 days or freeze for up to 6–12 months.

As haggis is a perishable food product, correct handling and delivery timing are essential. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted the delivery and storage conditions listed below.

- If frozen, defrost the haggis in the refrigerator at least 1 day beforehand.
- The haggis is pre-cooked and seasoned; it only needs to be heated.
- Remove the haggis from the plastic packaging without damaging the natural casing.
- Wrap the haggis in aluminium foil and place it in a water bath (baking tray) so that about a quarter of the haggis sits in the water.
- Heat in the oven at approx. 170°C for approx. 2.5 hours.
Traditionally best served with mashed potatoes and turnips.
Lamb, beef, oats, stock, onion, salt, pepper, spices. No artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives.
