This chanter is made of Blackwood with a durable plastic top featuring an integrated water-trap, ensuring premium quality and functionality. The built-in water-trap keeps the tone consistent and reduces moisture buildup. Regularly emptying the water-trap allows for hours of uninterrupted playing, perfect for extended practice sessions.
Optimised for the Warnock practice chanter reed, the Kintyre was specifically designed to work with this reed, providing a well-balanced and pleasant tone. This reed is supplied with the chanter to ensure optimal performance.

Reed Compatibility:
While the Kintyre is optimised for the Warnock reed, other reeds such as Walsh and Q-Reed are slightly longer and may not fit as easily. If using a different reed, the water-trap insert can be pushed in by a couple of millimeters to allow more space.
