FLUX Blowpipe – Safeguard against moisture
The FLUX Blowpipe works by stimulating the condensation of moisture within the blowpipe, and harnessing the condensed moisture through a difference in pressure in an internal absorption chamber.
The FLUX Blowpipe is universal and fits every bagpipe. It is compatible with both natural and synthetic bags, and does not require a zipper bag or inner tube for use.
It does not interfere with the sound of the bagpipe or restrict airflow.
Condensation is now absorbed by a special **absorption cloth**, which replaces the previous silica pellet system. The cloth is reusable and effective in protecting your instrument from excess moisture.
The FLUX Blowpipe is supplied with a removable mouthpiece (the FLUX Mouthpiece). However, McCallum Bagpipes mouthpieces are also compatible, so you can simply swap mouthpieces if you prefer a more traditional style. You may purchase a McCallum mouthpiece when ordering the FLUX Blowpipe – in this case, you will receive both the original FLUX mouthpiece and the additional one you selected.
