The Blair Digital Chanter combines traditional finger holes with advanced digital technology, giving pipers a natural playing feel and authentic, professionally sampled sounds.
Three instruments are supplied as standard: Great Highland Bagpipes, Smallpipes in A, and Practice Chanter. The chanter can hold up to nine instruments, with a free online library of more than 20 additional bagpipe sounds available to download and install using the Blair Digital Bagpipes App for PC.
Designed for quiet practice, travel, recording, and performance, the Blair Digital Chanter can be played through headphones, external speakers, or other audio equipment. Extensive sensitivity, tuning, tone, reverb, and instrument settings allow you to tailor its response and sound to your playing.
Please note: The Blair Digital Chanter does not have Bluetooth connectivity. App connection, data transfer, and MIDI are provided through USB.

Ergo2 Digital Pipe Bag is a professional electronic pipe bag designed to integrate seamlessly with the Blair Digital Chanter, forming a complete digital bagpipe system.Engineered for performance, the Ergo2 features six professional audio outputs, USB C connectivity, automatic on off pressure sensing, a dedicated amplified headphone output, and a fully adjustable swivel stock. It is built to deliver reliability, control, and consistent sound quality for practice, rehearsal, recording, and live performance.Installation is straightforward. The digital chanter attaches via the mouthpiece port and connects using the integrated USB and audio connections. The system is firmware upgradable, allowing future feature enhancements.Ergonomic DesignThe body contour is shaped to replicate the natural indentation formed on a traditional pipe bag under arm pressure, enhanced with a sculpted ergonomic curve. This encourages the bag to sit at a slightly elevated angle, positioning the hands closer to the player’s centreline.
