How to use
Once you have a reed that feels comfortable, place the pressure gauge on the top of your pipe chanter and take a reading. Keep this value as your reference for future reed orders.
Strength levels we use
- Soft — 27 inches water column or lower
- Medium — 28 to 37 inches water column
- Hard — 38 inches water column or more
